3 Swag Items I Still Have (and use) from a Trade Show 7 Years Ago

01. LoveHandle Pro

The Lovehandle phone grip and stand is, and remains, one of my favorite phone accessories ever. I grabbed one of these from a trade show booth 7 years ago and have never looked back. At first, it was just a phone grip. But now? LoveHandle has upgraded it to a phone grip, phone stand and even added a strong magnet that makes it easy as can be to watch, record, or just rest your phone when you aren’t using it. In recent years, this little powerhouse has received a few updates like the silicone strap to prevent stretch, the instant kickstand and the magsafe option (which is available for a few more dollars). Best of all? These products are Made in the USA and LoveHandle is a family-owned business.

02. Picquic Multi-Bit Screwdriver

Small, affordable, useful. Three of the most common words we hear from clients when they ask for trade show swag recommendations and the Picquic Multi-Bit Screwdriver hits all of those points. I am here to tell you, I love it, I use it, I am so glad I got it. Whether you’re a regular Bob the Builder (like my wife) or a more humble, “I can tighten some screws” (like myself) kind of DIY-er, the Picquic is the perfect tool for everyone. In fact, this little guy gets weekly use in this household and was made with quality, and longevity, in mind. And yes, it is available in multiple sizes and yes, it is brandable.

03. Umbrellas

Who throws away a perfectly good umbrella? No one. Who needs a perfectly good umbrella? Everyone. That’s probably why at this trade show a corner booth was causing so much traffic and borderline mayhem – because umbrellas are awesome and everybody wanted one. I still have that little compact, automatic umbrella to this day. It’s actually the only one I own and it’s still in as great as shape as it was… well, maybe not the day I got it. But it’s in really good shape! Umbrellas are affordable, compact and sure, they might be a little heavier than stress balls but no heavier than all of those stainless steel water bottles!
